Community Life
Our College is Located 3 kilometers from Punalur, place called Vettithitta. Punalur is a town which has old traditional and spiritual importance. The campus is surrounded by greenish nature, calm and quite place for study and research. The Campus is conveniently located and is accessible to post office, hospital and other shops for household items. The campus has hostel facility and it also runs a boys home for the marginalised children. The Campus has a cafeteria which caters to the resident students. There is a playground which both in-door and out-door games are played regularly. LWIT is a safe and secure campus.
Prayer Center Nellippally :- The local church exends its relationship to the local community and serves them through various church programmes and in particular it makes its ministry available round the clock to the service of the local community.
The Academic Life
LWIT offers various courses both external and internal. LWIT speciallly offers counselling courses to make available the biblical counsellors to help the people in their issues which will help the individual, families,community more over it strengthens the churches. Seminars,Conferences , Spiritual Refreshments and Annual Missions conferences are regular features of LWIT.
We have a computerised library with computer lab. Our Library has a collection of 16000 titles and over 100 periodicals.LWIT library updates constantly with latest information by adding new books and journals.
The Chapel service is conducted every day along with the academic programs, where the faculty and students participate. The students are encouraged to attend the Sunday services, mid-week prayers and monthly fasting prayers with other community members of LWIT. We have the services of Spiritual Formation and Pastoral Care department which provides counselling and pastoral care to the students. We strogly believe in physical recreation, so we have sports and games in-door and out-door as well. Once a year, the student body will be divided into four teams where students, faculty and staff of the academic community play various games and sports teams-wise..
